Revamped Comment Detection
Ever notice those asterisks next to the blog dates? Those were supposed to be there to indicate an unread comment. You probably clicked on the entry, and perhaps even noticed the asterisk disappear... once in a while. Yeah, it didn't work too well.
It should work better now. Before, I was using a cookie for each blog. No, I wasn't eating a cookie for every blog I read =p A cookie is little text file that a server sends you that keeps track of things. Apparently, there was some sort of limit to the number of cookies a server is allowed to set... making it impossible to set enough cookies to get rid of all the asterisks. Also, it could randomly make you fail your login to MovableType. The "Remember me" option for blog comments should work more often now, as well.
As I was updating each blog, I noticed some of you had edited the welcome message. You know, that message that greets you when you enter your blog editing section. They were quite fun to read and broke up the tedium of modifying everyone's templates.

2nd Prize goes to Julie for saying hi to me.
3rd Prize goes to Nathan for making me laugh when he assumed I was a hacker trying to post to his blog.
Honorable Mentions include Leah, Knutaf, Alex, and Zach for modifying the message at all. For Zach, though, it might have been a mistake because it was the same as his blog description =p
Congratulations! But I have no idea what to give out as prizes. Winners, feel free to suggest something.
